By providing access to business development tools, mentorship, startup grants, and leadership training, we equip women with the resources, confidence, and support they need to transform their lives, build sustainable businesses, and impact their communities. Our mission is to break down barriers and create opportunities for women of color to thrive as entrepreneurs and leaders.
Our Story
Daughters Across the Diaspora was founded on the belief in the transformative power of entrepreneurship—a vision rooted in the life of our founder, Ms. Primo. Growing up, she witnessed her family's success as business owners, seeing how entrepreneurship provided financial stability and the means to uplift their community. When her family immigrated to America, this spirit flourished, inspiring Ms. Primo to pursue a degree in business, equipping her to make a meaningful impact.
Ms. Primo recognized that many women of color, especially those from low-income backgrounds, had untapped potential but lacked the resources to turn their visions into sustainable businesses. This realization led her to create **Daughters Across the Diaspora** to empower women of color through entrepreneurship. By providing tools, mentorship, and financial assistance, our mission is to help women build businesses, achieve economic independence, and break the cycle of poverty. Today, we continue to support their journey toward success and community impact, creating a brighter future for generations to come.
